Deleting your MangoConnect account and related data

You can delete your MangoConnect account from the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by sending a request to the support address. The steps and limits of deletion are described below.

How to send a request

Email hello@mango-connect.com with the subject line "Delete MangoConnect account", or message @support inside MangoConnect.

In the email, include:

your account display name and nickname;
an email or other contact we can use to verify the request;
if possible, the account ID or a screenshot of the profile to speed up lookup;
whether you want to delete only the account or also request deletion of related data where possible.

What happens after the request

We may ask for confirmation that the request comes from the account owner.
After confirmation, the account may be deactivated or removed from active access.
Push tokens, active sessions, and access tokens will be revoked or cleared.
The profile and account-level data will be deleted or anonymized to the extent technically and legally possible.

What can be deleted

Account and profile

Name, nickname, avatar, account state, settings, and the access tokens tied to the account.

Devices and notifications

Push tokens, device bindings, and active sessions still attached to the account being deleted.

Support and service records

Support records may be deleted or anonymized when there is no reason to keep them longer.

What may not be removed immediately or fully

Messages and media already delivered to other participants may stay in their chat history or on their devices.
Records needed for security, abuse investigation, legal compliance, or rights protection may be retained longer.
Technical backups and ephemeral infrastructure logs may be removed during the regular clean-up cycle rather than immediately.

Processing time

We try to process deletion requests within a reasonable time after we verify your identity and have enough information to locate the account. Complex requests, or those that touch security or legal matters, may take longer.
