MangoConnect terms of use

1. The service

MangoConnect is a private messenger for personal circles, teams, and communities. The service includes invite-based accounts, direct and group chats, media, voice and video calls, notifications, and related features.

MangoConnect is not an emergency-services operator. The service cannot be used to reliably reach the police, ambulance, fire department, or other emergency services.

2. Subscription and payment

MangoConnect operates on a subscription basis. Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and automatically renew at the end of each period unless canceled.

• Subscription pricing is shown on the app page in the App Store or Google Play.
• Payment is charged to the user's Apple ID or Google account upon purchase confirmation.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Subscription management and cancellation are available in the App Store or Google Play settings on the device.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

MangoConnect does not process payment data directly. All transactions go through Apple or Google.

3. Who may use it

• The user must be at least 18 years old.
• Access is granted by invitation; invites must not be sold, published in bulk, or used to bypass restrictions.
• The user is responsible for the accuracy of their name and nickname, the security of their device, and the confidentiality of their session.

4. Acceptable use

The user agrees to use MangoConnect lawfully and respectfully. The following are prohibited:

• sending spam, fraudulent messages, phishing, or malicious links;
• threatening, harassing, doxxing, blackmailing, or coordinating violence;
• publishing or transmitting unlawful content, including child sexual exploitation material and illegal goods or services;
• infringing intellectual property rights, privacy, or the confidentiality of other people;
• attempting unauthorized access to accounts, chats, the API, infrastructure, or data;
• scraping, mass-collecting profiles, automating sign-ups, or otherwise circumventing service restrictions;
• interfering with the operation of MangoConnect, overloading the service, or distributing malicious code.

5. User content

The user retains rights to the content they send through MangoConnect. For the technical operation of the service, the user grants us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, transmit, display, and deliver that content to the chosen recipients.

This license exists solely to operate the service: message delivery, media, notifications, history, forwarding, calls, support, and security. The user must have the right to send the content they share through MangoConnect.

6. Privacy and data

Data processing is described in the Privacy policy and the Data collection policy. Both documents are part of these terms.

7. Third parties

MangoConnect relies on third-party services for hosting, storage, push notifications, calls, TURN / STUN, the website, fonts, email, and app stores. The use of iOS, Android, App Store, Google Play, APNs, FCM, and network providers is also subject to their own terms and policies.

8. Account security

The user is responsible for the security of the device, the system screen lock, app access, and notifications. MangoConnect may revoke tokens, throttle requests, block accounts, and remove access to features when needed for security, the protection of other users, or compliance with the law.

9. Suspension and termination

The user can stop using the service and request account deletion. We may temporarily or permanently restrict access if the user violates these terms, creates risk for other users, the service, or infrastructure, uses the service unlawfully, or attempts to bypass restrictions.

10. Service and terms updates

We may update the service and these terms to reflect new features, technical architecture, security, law, or business model. Material changes will be published on the website or communicated inside the service. Continued use of MangoConnect after changes take effect means the user accepts the updated terms.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by law, MangoConnect is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the service will always be available, compatible with every device, free of errors, or fully protected against every possible threat.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MangoConnect is not liable for indirect damages, loss of data, the actions of other users, network failures, app store outages, push provider issues, hosting failures, device problems, or circumstances outside reasonable control. These terms do not limit consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
